Espresso comes to Melbourne (2001)

Located among the chairs and tables of the Balcony Café, this display at Melbourne Museum (10 September—11 November) was curated by Eddie Butler-Bowdon and showcased some of Melbourne’s earliest espresso machines and other coffee-related material. It was launched by Mario Pasquale, co-proprietor of Mario’s Café, simultaneously with the launch of Andrew May’s Espresso! Melbourne Coffee Stories.
