The Luly Collection is a personal archive of photos comprising 325 images taken in Melbourne, Australia, from the 1950s until the 1970s. Much of the collection consists of photos of houses in suburban Melbourne, photos of modern suburban churches and a rather eclectic range of other historical images (factories, parks, freeways, airports, public buildings). Highlights include photos of many of the city’s Victorian masterpieces including the now demolished Federal Hotel in Spencer Street. The website was built using Omeka in collaboration with Jaan Kotli and Dr Craig Bellamy.
